MILAN: A campaign in aid of the Luigi Sacco hospital in Milan has been launched. Proceeds from aprons sold during a digital campaign “Italia Keeps on Cooking” will be donated to the hospital, which is one of the organisations where the intensive therapy department is actively involved in the fight against COVID-19.
The campaign is called Italia Keeps on Cooking and is an evolution of a campaign called Milano Keeps on Cooking. It is a digital campaign that was created by Alessia Rizzetto PR & Communication team, a Milan based PR agency specialized in food & beverage.
The campaign has now been extended to the whole of Italy following the lockdown caused by the health emergency that has impacted Italy really badly.
“Feeling very close to those working in the food and hospitality industry, we thought of creating a digital campaign which, while sharing social media posts portraying the representatives of these categories wearing aprons with the claim ‘MILANO KEEPS ON COOKING’, would encourage people to continue to be creative, dynamic and productive which are depict the attitude of Italians while at the same time contributing to a good cause. When the lockdown was extended to all Italy we decided to turn it into a national project, involving as many chefs as possible throughout Italy, in order to further amplify the message and to spread good vibes across the country,” said Alessia Rizzetto.
Thus, the agency produced aprons with the message “ITALIA KEEPS ON COOKING”, a message for chefs, restaurant owners and gourmets who will be able to support the project conveying a message of positivity and encouraging creativity even at home while sharing video-recipes that can be easily cooked at home.
More than 60 chefs have taken part in the project so far the project. Their video-recipes can be found on the official Instagram account of the project @milanokeepsoncooking and have English subtitles.
Among the protagonists of the initiative there areAndrea Berton, Antonio Guida, Wicky Priyan, Andrea Aprea, Davide Oldani, Daniel Canzian, Enrico Bartolini, Eugenio Boer, Eugenio Roncoroni, Ernst Knam, Fabrizio Borraccino, Luigi Taglienti, Lorenzo Sirabella, Gianluca Fusto, Roberto Di Pinto, Giuseppe Zen, Riccardo Gaspari, Cristina Bowerman, Andrea Tortora, Michelangelo Mammoliti, Lorenzo Cogo, Simone Circella, Giuseppe Maglione, Luca Natalini, Antonia Klugmann, Moreno Cedroni, Cristiano Tomei, Chiara Pavan, Matteo Dolcemascolo and many others who are sharing an encouraging message to the world that says #italiakeepsoncooking.
