The eighth season of Villa Louise, probably the World’s most exclusive kitchen has been announced.
It will welcome the likes of Tim Raue, Richard Ekkebus, Nick Bril, Syrco Bakker, Julien Royer, David Kinchand Arnaud Lallement to mention just a few names.
Villa Louise started in 2012 as an offshoot of asset manager Creutz and Partners. Since that year, they have been inviting some of the world’s best chefs into its private kitchen to collaborate, cook and share their creativity with their clients.
Started through the passion for food of Yves Creutz, executive member of the board of directors of Creutz and Partners, it is slowly approaching 100 stars which was the target set by Yves when we interviewed him. To date a total of 93 Michelin stars have been accumulated.
The first dinner for season 8 will take place in February and features German chef Tim Raue of restaurant Tim Raue in Berlin. The lunch will be also accompanied by a keynote speech of author Bas Kast about creativity and how one can come up with good ideas.
The second dinner will take place on 8 February. Richard Ekkebus of 3 Michelin starred Restaurant Amber in Hong Kong will be cooking at Villa Louise. The Dutch chef is currently on a tour given the restaurant is currently closed for refurbishment and will re-open later this year. The dinner will be accompanied by a keynote speech by author Friedemann Karig on the subject of storytelling in the digital age.
The other chefs taking part in Season 8 are Fanny Rey of restaurant Fanny Rey and Jonathan Wahid in Saint Remy de Provence, Christophe Bacquie of restaurant Christophe Bacquie in Le Castellet, Julien Royer of Odette in Singapore, Syrco Bakker of Pure C in Cadzand Bad, Atsushi Tanaka of Restaurant A.T. in Paris, Nick Bril of The Jane in Antwerp, David Kinch of Manresa in Los Gatos, Adeline Grattard of Yam’Tcha in Paris, Arnaud Lallement of Assiette Champenoise in Tinquex, Bjorn Swanson of Golvet in Berlin, Merlin Labron-Johnson of The Conduit in London and Cyril Molard of Ma Langue Sourit in Luxembourg.
